Georgia Ann Perkey

June 14, 1924 - June 22, 2000

Borned in Patterson Va. daughter of the late Sam and Laura Matney. Now laid to rest at Tri Cities Memory Gardens along with her late husband Robert Columbus Perkey. Preceded in death by a daughter, son and granddaughter leaving behind six daughters, four sons, twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mother without you I could have never become the man I am today. You stood by my side not passing judgment only offering your comforting hand. You instilled the strength to never give up and to follow your heart. Once said, "Son follow your heart, it shall guide you in the right direction. There will be great pain to face, but don't run from it, instead embrace it or otherwise your heart and soul will become like all the others. Just a lonely old lost soul with no place to go."

May you go rest high on that mountain you so deserve for your work on this earth is done.
